Dr. Howard L. Edelman is a 1972 graduate of Central High School of Philadelphia (231 class), a cum laude graduate of Temple University and a 1981 graduate of Temple University Dental School. At Temple Dental, Dr. Edelman was a member of the Oral Surgery Honor Society, the American Society of Dentistry for Children, the American Student Dental Association and the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Upon graduation from Temple Dental, Dr. Edelman received The American Association of Orthodontists outstanding senior student award. Dr. Edelman did post-graduate training in implant dentistry at the Eastman Dental Center and Genesee Hospital in Rochester, New York.

He maintains active membership in the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Montgomery-Bucks Dental Society, the Philadelphia County Dental Society, the Continuing Education for Dental Excellence Study Club, the Northeast Dental Society and the Dental Clinics Club of Philadelphia. Dr. Edelman was also a volunteer for the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped.

On a personal note, Dr. Edelman is married to his wife Vicki 27 years and counting. Vicki is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University baccalaureate nursing program and is the administrator of Endoscopic Associates at Abington Memorial Hospital. They have two daughters, Randi age 22, a graduate of the school of communications at Temple University and the marketing representative for Philadelphia Magazine, and Allison age 19, who is a student at West Chester University and is studying kinesiology with a goal of becoming a physical therapist.

Dr. Edelman has been involved with fund raising for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of the Delaware Valley for the past 15 years and is a chairperson for The American Cancer Society City to Shore Tour.  Dr Edelman is also one of the co-chairman of The American Cancer Society's City to Shore Bike Tour. He is also a volunteer for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and has participated in the M.S. 150 City to Shore Bike Tour for the past 8 years.



Dr. James M. Stevenson was born and raised in Queens, NY. He is a 1990 graduate of Archbishop Molloy High School and a 1994 graduate of Fordham University where he received a B.S. in Biology. After college he went on to attend the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where he received his D.D.S. in 1998. While at SUNY Buffalo He was awarded both the William Tucker Scholarship for academic performance and the prestigious Academy of General Dentistry Senior Student Award for proficiency in general dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Stevenson was a member of Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity and American Student Dental Association. Dr. Stevenson went on to do post graduate training at Abington Memorial Hospital where he completed the General Practice Residency program in 1999. After his residency, Dr. Stevenson joined Dr. Edelman in private practice in Dresher, PA, and became a member of the dental staff at Abington Hospital. Dr. Stevenson still continues his dental education with numerous continuing education courses annually as well as being a member of the Philadelphia Clinics Club and Montgomery Bucks Dental Society. His professional affiliations include membership in the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Stevenson is married to Dr. Meredith Slone whom he met in dental school. Dr. Slone was a classmate of Dr. Stevenson at SUNY Buffalo and a graduate of Cornell University with a B.S. Biology 1994. She currently maintains a private practice in general dentistry in Blue Bell, Pa as well as a staff position at Abington Memorial Hospital. They both reside in Harleysville, PA with their Rhodesian Ridgeback Bailey.
